Does UNC Chapel Hill accept ACT scores or SAT scores?
The ACT and SAT scores are both accepted and evaluated at UNC Chapel Hill. There is no need to worry about preference, because each test is given equal consideration.

Does Carolina do anything special for out-of-state students?
Yes. 
  • Residence Halls stay open over Fall Break so that you do not have to make an additional trip home.  Temporary housing is also available over the Thanksgiving break.

 

  • The Out of State Student Association organizes free airport shuttles over Fall Break, Thanksgiving and Spring Break.
